Narrative.

Elderly widower Ed struggles to maintain his late wife's garden. Initially resistant to his new neighbors and their dog, Mr Tim, Ed grows to enjoy his company as they garden together and finally grow the pumpkin. When the fence between their yards is fixed, Ed reconciles with his neighbors, learning not to shut himself off from society.
